Marie + JJ’s June Wedding

Meet Marie + JJ Ross…….such a gorgeous couple.

This wedding was extra special as we got to watch Marie grow up in our church family.  I remember when I was in 7th grade my family went on our first big vacation to Disneyland…..we happened to stumble upon Marie and her family while there!  Marie was too small for one of the rides we were all going on so my Mom offered to stay behind and hang out with Marie.  Marie never forgot about that…..once she was engaged, she knew she wanted to come visit the farm to see what flowers could be hers on her special day.

I loved Marie’s color palette!  She wanted burgundy with pops of magenta and lots of greenery.  She loved the hanging amaranthus.  We saved peonies in our coolers for her for the perfect fullness of color. Every detail was so well thought out by Marie and her planner Edna, owner of Events By Edz.

Marie and JJ were married in our home parish Our Lady of Angels, the photos in this church are always amazing.  The reception was held at Marie’s parents’ home which was equally gorgeous.  We wish you two so much happiness!

Beautiful photography by the talented Shannon of fotoNovella.

Emily + David May 2018

I met Emily and David early Summer 2017.  They visited the farm, we walked through the flower fields and the rest is history!

They were married on May 19th, 2018 at Terra Blanca.  The weather was beautiful and we were so happy to bring their floral vision to life!

The garden roses bloomed just in time, white peonies added the soft and full texture, hints of lavender and plum added the perfect feminine touch.

Dusty Blues & Mixed Metals Inspiration Shoot – 509Bride

We had the opportunity to work with a great team of vendors last month and we are excited to share some of the photos with you all.  This shoot took place in my home town of Prosser, WA.  Prosser River Ranch welcomed us graciously and allowed us to dress up their venue which over looks the Yakima River.  If you have not heard of 509Bride yet, you should go take a look!  This site provides so many amazing and local vendors in the greater Tri Cities area.  Jordan of 509Bride was the mastermind behind this shoot.  She brought us all together to create a beautiful and inspirational vision.

For anyone who is not sure what a stylized/Inspiration shoot is….here is my take on it from a recent post:

Firstly, I am going to share a little more about what a styled shoot actually is. This is an opportunity for vendors to come together and create something unique, sometimes more trendy or out of the norm. It is a chance for us to meet new vendors in the same categories or different categories and we all get to work together to accomplish the end goal.

What I enjoy about these shoots is the opportunity to showcase taking inspiration and putting my own spin on it without restrictions on types of flowers or styles of the bouquet….I have pure freedom! I always, always say, if brides trust me they will get something so much more beautiful than they had ever envisioned. It is our chance to create and exhibit our own take on what is trending or what we think will be the next big thing!

We were asked to create 2 different looks for the table scape as well as the bridal looks.  The bridal bouquet I was asked to design was a Romantic and Timeless look.

Here is the complete vendor team:

Bella Fiori Gardens Wedding

We just received beautiful photos taken by Manny Avila Photography from this past May wedding.  Nathan & Lynsie were wed at Bella Fiori Gardens in Finley, WA the end of May.  This venue is so beautiful!  Lynsie and Nathan were such a sweet couple, I could see how in love they were at our initial consultation!  You could most definitely see it in their wedding photos!

Manny, caught so many wonderful candid moments as well!  I love sharing photos of the moment after the couple is first announced and walking down the aisle.  That moment is always pure joy! And Lynsie’s gown from Amy’s Bridal Boutique was amazing!  Loving the long sleeves and intricate details.

Please take a look at the photos that Manny has shared and definitely take a moment to follow him on social media and visit his website to see more of his work! And congratulations again to Nathan and Lynsie!

The Cowans

Ethan and Makaela’s wedding was beautiful and the weather was perfect!  They were wed on Makaela’s families’ farm in Zillah, WA just a few roads away from where my Mom grew up!  The date was May 19th.  The colors were white, with soft and medium pinks and peonies….lots of peonies!

Makaela gave me numerous antler sheds to incorporate into her bridal bouquet which was a first for me but I think it turned out beautifully.  I love when brides can add a little something meaningful and special to them.  There were so many incredible details, nothing was overlooked.

Misty, owner of Misty C. Photography captured their day with her timeless and light filled photography.

Grand Opening & Spring Fling

We definitely felt the love this past weekend at our Grand Opening & 2nd annual Spring Fling!  The outpouring of support and help from all of our friends was beyond what we had expected and we are so grateful and thankful!

We only hold 2 of these big events at the farm each year and our second event will be the 6th annual Fall Fling the first weekend of October!  We host vendors indoors and out and there is amazing food, live music and so many great & local artisans.  We always judge the success of an event on how long our guests stay and so many stayed and enjoyed the whole afternoon with us!  We were so honored that so many came out to our farm to see what we have to offer!

We are also so thankful to photographer and friend, Alex Lasota for capturing the day in photographs!  We were so busy making bouquets and running around, we did not get a chance to fully see everything and everyone.  It was such a blessing to sit down afterwards and look at all of the beauty we were surrounded by!

We apologize if we did not get a chance to visit with you or give a squeeze, but we wanted you all to know that our hearts are so full!

Take a moment to browse Alex’s photos and if you did not get a chance to come to the opening, please come visit us soon!

The Farm Shop hours are Tuesday – Saturday 10am – 6pm

Vineyard Wedding

Hala & Dominique traveled quite a long way to celebrate with close family and friends this past September. You see, Hala and Dominque had already wed in Dubai months before, so this was a second celebration.

I was visited by Dominique’s mother early this summer.  She thoroughly enjoyed her tour of the flower fields and fell in love with just about every bloom.  I was given a copy of the invitation for color/theme and so the process began.

The plum dahlias were a must and our lisianthus paired perfectly for a soft & romantic feel.  They were married near a vineyard at Klipsun Cottage on Red Mountain.  I was also so happy that I got to know Jordan of Jordan Edens Photography, she really does lovely and timeless work.  Please head over to her website to see her work!

LOVE Shoot

We were able to combine a few things all at once a few weeks ago!  We attended the first Bridal Showcase at Airfield Estates Winery, so we ordered flowers in and created.  Local photographer and friend Kara Durbin had the brilliant idea to do a styled shoot so that we could capture all of our work, who wouldn’t????

So, the day before the show, she came out to the farm and shot in our new Farm Shop as well as out in our fields.  Her sister, Hannah was amazingly gorgeous and we just had a fun day in the middle of winter!

A list of the few lovely ladies that brought this all to life:

MUA/Hair: Crystal Bogart

Fall Wedding

Elise was such a gorgeous bride and was such a joy to work with!  We not only got to design her wedding flowers, but her bridal shower arrangements as well!  She and her mother came to the farm last fall and toured, they loved the dahlias and lisianthus for sure! Elise also fell in love with the idea of our succulent pumpkins being her centerpieces and they were amazing!

Elise and RJ were married at Promise Garden in Pasco, WA.  It was such a beautiful Fall day for their wedding.  She wanted Fall colors for her bouquet with dahlias, lisianthus and mums.  Sevlynn Photography captured our flowers perfectly!
