Kaylie & Daniel’s May Wedding

Kaylie & Daniel’s 2018 May wedding was simply gorgeous!

Since it was May, peonies were a must in every bouquet and I loved the simple beauty of the white and burgundy in the bridal bouquet.  This gorgeous couple had the perfect weather with the beautiful Winn Homestead barn as the venue and the rolling fields that surrounded this event.

Thank you to the amazing vendors whom helped create this special day:

Jordy & Patrick

This wedding was near and dear to us for many reasons.  We got to watch Jordy grow up in our church family, she was always such a sweet girl and always had a smile on her face.  Jordy entered our flower story on a hot summer day.  Jordy and her mom stopped by our booth at the Hermiston farmer’s market and Mom let Jordy make her own bouquet.  This led to Jordy helping us at market every Friday for the rest of the season.  We had so much fun working with her and she soon shared our love of flowers.  Jordy was a natural.  She has babysat my kids and they formed a special bond with Jordy over the years.  I was so honored when she asked all 3 of our kiddos to be ring bearers and flower girl.  They were so excited, (unfortunately Nate never made it down the aisle, but he was very handsome nonetheless).  We were equally honored to grow and design her florals for her.  She LOVES dahlias and lisianthus were a must with subtle hints of burgundy and peach.

Now, Patrick enters the story! Patrick and Jordy were friends first, I remember asking her each week if they were dating and she would just blush.  Soon enough, they were dating, they made it through the long distance college years and now call Colorado home.  They traveled back to their hometown of Hermiston to celebrate their marriage in our home parish Our Lady of Angels.  The reception took place at Echo Ridge Cellars in Echo, Or.  This was the most fun I have had at a reception in a long time!  From the speeches to the dancing to the unique money dance.  One of the groomsmen was an auctioneer by trade, so he auctioned off a dance with Jordy and another with Patrick.  The guests were all involved and very entertained.  My dad ended up with the highest bid….they started the music and it was “My Maria” which was one of the songs we danced to at my wedding!  Everyone danced the night away and enjoyed celebrating Jordy and Patrick.  We wish them many years of happiness!

Ashley + Erik

Ashley and Erik were wed on a very warm July 21st in Zillah, WA, just down a few roads from where my mom grew up and I spent many nights as a child!  If you have not been to Le Jardin, the venue, here is to hoping you will get to attend a function there.  The landscaping is gorgeous!

These two were so sweet and we are so happy for them!  The colors were blush, dusty rose and white, Ashley fell in love with the Cafe au Lait dahlias so those were incorporated into everything.  Erik’s family owns a hop farm, so hops were also incorporated.  I love when details are so meaningful.

Please take a look through the gallery below taken by Terra Nyce Photography.  She captured this day perfectly!  Congratulations again!

Yvonne & Tony

Yvonne & Tony’s love story is special.  They found their way back to each other after first meeting in college and rekindling their relationship years later.

Their September 28th wedding day was elegant and beautiful, each detail was carefully thought out.  The ceremony and reception took place at Terra Blanca Winery in Benton City, WA. It was an intimate affair with two long tables where everyone ate together.  It was an honor that our flowers could play a part in their wedding day.

Please take a look at the vendors listed below that brought this all to life.  The beautiful photography by Melissa Mcfadden Photography was gorgeous as always.

Dusty Gold Photo Shoot

It is always a good idea to collaborate with fellow wedding vendors, especially in Fall!  We love showing future brides how Fall colors are truly beautiful.  This was really just an excuse for us to all have some fun and be creative, but the end result is always the best part!

Everything in this bouquet came straight from the farm.  From the dahlias, to the mini sunflowers to the eucalyptus and wheat.  The unexpected touches of texture and color is always our goal, we call it the “sparkle”.  Did you also know that you get two bouquets in one from us???  There is always a front and a back side to my bouquets for two separate looks!

Lily & Kegan’s July Wedding

Lily & Kegan were such a sweet couple!  Their wedding took place this past July 28th up near Joseph, OR.  This wedding was near and dear to us as Lily’s grandmother….Judy is a neighbor down the road and she was just the sweetest to work with!  She made sure every detail was just perfect for Lily, you could definitely see the love outpouring for these two!

Lily gave me her color palette which was neutrals with a hint of orange and I ran with it from there!  Congratulations again to such a great couple!

Tranisi Vow Renewal & Family Blessing

We were honored to create the florals for Heidi & Joe’s vow renewal this past August.

Mom and I got to travel to Rosalyn on a Wednesday, Aug 8th to be exact to deliver their flowers for this special occasion.  The views atop the mountain were breathtaking and there was a gentle, warm breeze that was perfect.

Heidi had everything planned and knew exactly what she wanted the florals to be….wild, colorful, with pops of orange, blue and protea was a must.  Our copper vases were the vessels and our flowers were carefully placed in bottles and small vases.  A long garland adorned the center of the long table amidst the small vases.  They scattered flowers and greens around the space that their vows were renewed and their family was blessed.

Lisa, owner of Lisa Tri Photography was there to capture every special moment and detail.  Take a look below at her amazing work!

Alex + Madi’s July Wedding

Alex + Madi were married July 28th, 2018 at Airfield Estates in Prosser, WA.  As I sat down with Madi and her mother this past winter, I knew Madi was certain of her vision from the beginning (A girl after my own heart) !  She wanted to use local vendors, she had her color scheme down and she loved lots of greenery.

As you can see in the photos below…….she was a gorgeous bride and the venue was stunning and elegantly decorated with lush greens and florals.  Kara Durbin Photography wonderfully captured all of the details from the day and is always so gracious to share her work!  Madi’s wedding gown was stunning, from Fashion Corner Bridal in Sunnyside, WA.  Hair by Hair Works in Sunnyside and Makeup by Taylor Miller.

Cortney + Colby’s July Wedding

Cortney + Colby’s July 14th wedding took place at The American Homestead in Naches, WA.  A beautiful venue with a wide open field and a rustic barn that blends well with its surroundings.  The weather was so perfect and this family was an absolute joy to work with!  Cortney and Colby had been together since high school, so it was such a great celebration of love!

Memory Montage Photography based in Yakima photographed everything perfectly.  Please take a moment and enjoy scrolling through their work!
